Our client is looking for an experienced HR Manager who will be responsible for the entire employee life cycle. This position will be a team of one and requires a self-starter with a positive attitude, who is willing to jump in and handle any task that needs attention.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

  • Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.

  • Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience

  • A minimum of 2 years at the management levelĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's degree and/orĀ  SHRM Certificate preferred)

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role

  • Experience developing and teaching content to managers and supervisors to increase their leadership capabilities

  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements

  • Strong understanding of change management principles and experience leading organizational change initiatives

  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and present HR metrics to inform decision-making

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
